Meet Julia!
Julia came to Durango to attend Fort Lewis College in 2014 and stayed for the mountains and the community. There’s something really special about this town of ours — the way people show up for each other, celebrate the little things, and value beauty in everyday life. It just felt like home for Julia. She has a boyfriend and a sweet pup who very much runs the show. Her life is very full with her business and her people.
Julia is the owner of April’s Garden, a local flower shop here in Durango. Most of her life revolves around flowers — designing for weddings, helping people celebrate and grieve, and creating something meaningful every day. Outside of work, she loves being outside, slow mornings, and anything creative!
Julia loves pieces that feel effortless, but still special. Things that you can wear everyday, but that still make you feel like you — which is something that lively always nails with our versatile pieces. She loves shopping at lively because, “I love how lively creates such a welcoming, fun space downtown and they always have the best scents and perfumes. It’s one of those places that just feels good to pop into”.
