Introducing the June Lively Ladies: Allison Wall & Aimee Morse!

Meet Allison!

Allison is a true Durango local at heart with a passion for family, community, and connection. Allison originally moved to Durango for her high school sweetheart (now husband) Jeff, and together they’ve built a beautiful life raising their two children, Hunter and Hollis.

When she’s not busy balancing family life, Allison co-owns The Balcony with Jeff and works in Economic Development for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. She’s also the co-founder of SW MAHJ CLUB, bringing people together over one of her favorite hobbies, mahjong!

From tennis matches to family travels and mahjong nights with friends, Allison loves staying active, building community, and making meaningful memories wherever she goes. Her warmth, entrepreneurial spirit, and love for Durango make her the perfect June Lively Lady.

A longtime lively supporter, Allison has been shopping with us since the very beginning. “I love being able to shop and support a local business,” she shares. “I’ve loved watching lively grow and evolve over the years. The atmosphere, the style, and the people make it such a special place. If you’re downtown, you absolutely have to pop in!”

Meet Aimee!

Aimee’s Durango story started with a ski trip and like so many who visit, she quickly fell in love with the charm of the town. After returning to visit family and finishing college at Fort Lewis College, she decided to make Durango home for good.

Her love story is equally as classic. Aimee met her husband Zach while bartending at El Rancho Tavern, when he sat down at her bar and, as she puts it, “it was love at first Crown and Sprite.” Nearly 12 years later, the two are raising their sweet kiddos, Keller and Barrett, while Zach runs his business as broker and owner of Sotheby's International Realty in Durango.

With a degree in Communications and Marketing, Aimee jokes that she spent much of her career putting those skills to work in an unexpected place, a local orthodontist office. After becoming a mom, she embraced full-time family life and eventually found a new passion through mahjong. These days, you can find her juggling mom life, Pilates classes, tennis matches, podcast binges, family adventures, and proudly embracing her role as a “passenger princess.” Her fun-loving personality and sense of humor make her impossible not to adore.

Some of Aimee’s favorite brands at lively include Dear John, Pistola, FRNCH, and Sadie & Sage. She says shopping at lively feels less like running errands and more like spending time with friends. “It’s the perfect mix of fun, fashion, and community,” she shares. “I always leave finding something cute I suddenly can’t live without.”
